Welcome to Life.

We all are looking for something ... something beautiful, something meaningful, something profitable.  But life throws us curves all the time, and we discover things we weren't looking for.  It has been said that if we seek to find harmony in what we think, say, and do, we can be more receptive to those things that will help us.  Harmony in life, is like harmony in a song, that sounds different by different artists, so too, our lives change as we grow.  Life is the harmony made up of the choices and experiences each of us endures during every day.  As we face the challenges of daily life, we choose, and in those choices we change the song just a little.  No two choruses are ever quite identical, but the lilting melodies, the wondrous marches, and extactic crescendos make it a wild ride for anyone who embraces the harmony of life.

Reality Check - Too often we are bombarded with others telling us what a great deal this is, or how we'll save so much on that, but in reality ... most of what is out there is coming from shysters.  It's not about savings, but how much it actually COSTS!  Reality Check is my blog of just the kind of stuff that sucks you in and drains you dry of your hard earned money.  When you pull out all the hype, smoke and mirrors, and politically charged rhetoric, you are left with reality - what it really costs.

Space - (link will open a new tab/window) NASA has run its course.  It is time for change, and new blood and new approaches for achieving space travel.  NASA never seemed to be interested in making space available to anyone but scientiests.  New Space is changing that, and NASA is in danger of becoming irrelevant.  I propose a new approach, similar to the land rush of the 19th century.

Writing- I am an author.  Two books published and available in print/e-book, a third, Handyman is due in the summer, and a fourth in the first quarter of next year.  I also write short stories, and poetry.

Computers,Robotics, and AI - I have spent over 20 years working in the computer industry.  Now I am developing a General Artificial Intelligence platform.  Its design is intended to be more of a "child of humanity" rather than a slave.

Don the Handyduck - By day I am a mild-mannered commercial handyman, but on nights and weekends I offer my services as Don, the handyduck.  I take on jobs for homeowners working on those small jobs that "just never get done".  I will turn that "honey-do-list" into a "ducky-done-list".
